They have no pull chains or turn switches, so must be operated by a wall switch. Welsbach System sconce

W3-08555: Vintage sconce, originally gas but converted to electric with groud wire. Signed "Welsbach System" and patented March 15, 1887. Gas shade etched with ribbons, torches and flowers. Striker marked "S.G. LIGHTER CO., LYNN, MASS., PAT 11/18/09". W11-07303: Elegant pair of signed Bradley & Hubbard sconces (only one is featured), c. 1910, with three original cut glass hurricane globes on each sconce. A couple of the globes have tiny, barely noticeable fleabites on the rim, FYI.  They're in outstanding condition. These sconces will make a statement wherever they're placed -- flanking a fireplace, in a diningroom, in an office, etc. Approximately 17" wide by 25" high by 9 1/2" deep. W2-06155: This magnificent three-arm sconce is originally from the Strand Theater in New Britain, CT and was purchased by the owner of the New Britain Herald (newspaper) after the theater was demolished, and later from her estate. The amber glass center is in excellent condition and houses a fourth bulb. The shades are original to the piece. c. 1920.
