The shades are dated “Patented Oct. 1, 1902”, and they’re in amazing condition! The sconce’s rich patina is a testament to the age of the fixture. We converted the gas arm, which faces upward, for use in today’s world. If you’d prefer, you can replicate the original look of this fixture by using a flicker bulb in the gas arm for effect, OR you can use up to a 60W bulb or its equivalent in each socket for maximum light.

This sconce has one paddle switch that controls both arms. Turn it once, and one of the arms will light up. Turn it again, and that light will go out and the other one will turn on. If you turn it again, both lights will come on. Turn it once more to turn the fixture off. You can also operate this sconce with a wall switch, and use the paddle switch to dictate which of the arms you would like to use. This fixture offers lots of versatility!

It could be perfect in a hallway, entranceway, staircase, dining room, bedroom, library, bathroom, etc. With the shades, it measures 12″ high by 8″ wide by 9 1/4″ deep. It’s rewired with a ground wire added to meet today’s electric codes.

This is a beautiful pair of difficult-to-find mission style gas/electric sconces. They’re all brass with rich patina, and the neck of each fitter ring is dated Feb 23 ’04. The glass shades are also mission style (square), and they are vintage to match the age of the sconces. We converted the gas arm on each sconce to electric so they can be used in today’s world. If you’d prefer, you can replicate the original look of these sconces by using a flicker bulb in the upward-facing gas arms for effect, OR you can use up to a 60W bulb or its equivalent in each socket.

Each sconce has one paddle switch that controls both arms. When you turn it the first time, one of the arms will light up. Turn it again, and that light will go out and the other one will come on. Turn it again for both lights to be lit, and turn it once more for both lights to turn off. You can also operate this sconce with a wall switch, and use the paddle switch to select the arms you’d prefer to be lit. These sconces provide lots of versatility!

These could work well in a dining room, living room, bedroom, library, flanking a fireplace or a bookcase, in an entryway, hallway, bathroom, etc. With the shades, each sconce measures 14 1/2″ tall by 6″ wide by 10″ deep. Each is rewired with a ground wire added to meet today’s electric codes.

Antique lamps with eight panels in the shade are very difficult to find in good condition, so this one is a real treasure! It’s not perfect; it’s showing its age. But I hope I look as good by the time I’m 105 years old! LOL! The base is made of cast iron and pot metal with a gold wash. The glass panels in the shade are beige with a caramel swirl. All of the shade’s filigree work, also referred to as overlay, is intact. The lamp has one pull-chain switch and can accommodate one incandescent bulb up to 60W maximum, or its equivalent.

This would be perfect on a nightstand, in the living room, family room, dining room, entranceway, office, at the base of a staircase, etc. It measures 20″ tall, and the base is 8″ in diameter. The shade measures 17 1/2″ across the flats, and 18 3/4″ across the points. We rewired this lamp with cloth cord typical of the period, and we added a polarized button plug to retain as much authenticity as possible.

Set of three two-armed brass Art Deco pendants

This is an unusual set of three two-armed brass Art Deco pendants, c. 1920s. They all have difficult-to-find matching amber draped cased glass shades in excellent overall condition. They also have a rich patina, which attests to their age. In addition, we equipped each of the pendants with dimmable LED bulbs that are equivalent to 40W incandescent bulbs. You can use different bulbs if you prefer, as long as they don’t exceed 60W or their equivalent.

These pendants would be perfect for over an island in the kitchen. If your island is on the smaller side, consider using two of these over the island and the third one over the kitchen sink or in a nearby breakfast nook. They could also work nicely in a hallway, office, staircase, bathroom, laundry room, etc. They measure 14 1/4″ long by 15 1/4″ wide by 5″ deep. We rewired each pendant and added a ground wire to meet today’s electric codes.
