It shows minor wear commensurate with age. The lamp has two pull-chain switches. The beautiful shade, which is made of textured stained glass creating a mosaic pattern, is a replacement. The colors are stunning, not just when the lamp is off, but especially when the lamp is lit.

This lamp would be perfect in a living room, bedroom, family room, dining room, office, larger entryway, etc. It measures 21″ high, and the base is 7″ in diameter. The shade is 18″ wide at the bottom, and it’s 8″ high. We rewired the lamp with brown cloth cord and a polarized button plug.

Though these two cast iron irons are not an identical pair, they are two vintage irons converted to lamps. They’re from the early 1900s. They were converted by someone else some time ago and then rewired by us here at Old Lamps & Things. We added new clip-on shades to complete them. If you don’t care for our choice or shades, you can always shop for something that you might like better.

These could be perfect as bookends on a shelf or desk, or they can be used on a pair of nightstands, on a fireplace mantel, on end tables in the family room, kitchen counter, etc. Each measures 14 1/2″ tall with the shade. The irons are 5″ tall by 3″ wide by 4″ deep. Rewired.

This beautiful Art Nouveau slag glass table lamp with eight panels hails from c. 1920. Antique lamps with eight panels in the shade are very difficult to find in good condition, so this one is a real treasure! It’s not perfect; it’s showing its age. But I hope I look as good by the time I’m 105 years old! LOL! The base is made of cast iron and pot metal with a gold wash. The glass panels in the shade are beige with a caramel swirl. All of the shade’s filigree work, also referred to as overlay, is intact. The lamp has one pull-chain switch and can accommodate one incandescent bulb up to 60W maximum, or its equivalent.

This would be perfect on a nightstand, in the living room, family room, dining room, entranceway, office, at the base of a staircase, etc. It measures 20″ tall, and the base is 8″ in diameter. The shade measures 17 1/2″ across the flats, and 18 3/4″ across the points. We rewired this lamp with cloth cord typical of the period, and we added a polarized button plug to retain as much authenticity as possible.

Novel pair of vintage wooden holders

Cylindrical white glass kerosene fonts plug into this novel pair of vintage wooden holders, c. mid-to-late 1800s. The chimneys are replacements. Easy to use: remove the chimney, unscrew the burner on the top, fill with kerosene, put the burner back on, adjust the wick, light it, and carefully put the chimney back on! The glass cylinders can be removed from the wooden holders for easy cleaning, wick changing, etc. These are very unusual! They’re also very petite and perfect for small spaces, like fireplace mantel, bathroom counter, kitchen counter, bedroom, or anywhere extra light is needed and can be safely used.

They measure 15″ tall (including the chimneys) by 5″ wide at the base of the wooden holders.

We added an inline switch to turn it on and off, and we used a flicker bulb to emulate a flame, but any candelabra size bulb will work. What a great collector piece! It’s also perfect for the scientist in your life who would appreciate the history represented here.

This cute little Victorian style boudoir lamp is c. 1930s. It’s made of cast pot metal painted with soft shades of cream, green, gold and burgundy. We added a reproduction lined cloth burgundy shade to complete the lamp. The shade has braided gold trim around the top and bottom edges. The lamp also has an Edison-size, torpedo style bulb designed for clip-on shades. Perfect for a nightstand, entryway, small staircase table, hallway, or anywhere a small accent light is needed. Measures 11 1/2″ high (including the shade) by 6″ across shade bottom by 3 1/2″ across the lamp base. Rewired.
