Description
1920s Gold washed table lamp
This is a stunning c. 1920s gold washed table lamp, possibly manufactured by The Edward Miller Company, but unsigned. Other than the expected minor paint loss on the base, the lamp is in very good condition.
We married the base to a beautiful reproduction glass dome shade with an apple tree motif. There is a small flea bite (a.k.a. tiny chip) on the inside of the shade rim that is not noticeable from the outside; mentioning for accuracy.
When we rewired this lamp, we used cloth cord and an old-style, polarized plug to retain the authentic look of the 1920s. The lamp has two pull-chain switches.
Perfect for living room, dining room, bedroom, library, desk, foyer, etc. Measures 21 1/2″ high by 7″ diameter of the base. The shade measures 7 1/2″ high by 15 3/4″ across the bottom.
