This beautiful cast iron outdoor sconce would be best under a shelter (like a porch roof or overhang) rather than be exposed directly to the weather. It’s a c. 1920 piece and is done in the mission style, which is becoming harder and harder to find. In addition, it has a white acorn glass globe with a brass floret at the bottom for decoration. A wall switch would be required to operate this piece.
This sconce would be perfect for outside the front door, outside the back door, between the garage doors, on the side of a barn, etc. It could also be used inside, especially in a garage or entryway. It measures 12″ high by 5″ wide by 7″ deep. It’s rewired with a ground wire added.
