Elegant glass and crystal torchiere
This rare and elegant glass and crystal torchiere has a satin glass shade with raised flowers and vine design, c. 1940s. The metal on the base and on the cup supporting the shade is nickel plated steel, all of which is in very good condition. The lamp has four levels of bobeches with spear crystals. It also has three long glass cylinders with ridges and two glass balls. A three-way switch on the cup operates the mogul bulb, which has a 50-100-150-watt bulb. (It would accommodate a 100-200-300-watt bulb if more light is needed.)
Perfect for ambiance (on the low setting), reading (on the medium setting), and lots of extra light (on the highest setting). Measures 68 3/4″ high with the shade by 14 1/2″ across the shade by 12″ across the base. Rewired.
