Pair of gas/electric ceiling pendants
Difficult-to-find pair of gas/electric ceiling pendants with acid etched shades, c. 1900. Reportedly from the Russian Lady restaurant in Hartford, CT. One turn switch on each brass pendant operates both the gas (now converted) and the electric sides. Can also be placed in the ON position and be operated by a wall switch. Perfect for over an island, in a library, stairwell, flanking the fireplace, etc. Measure 33″ long by 16″ from far edge of one shade to far edge of the other. Newly wired with ground wire added to each.
