This signed DELITE metal desk lamp is from c. 1915. It was painted white some time ago and is showing some signs of wear. (Some would argue that it has more character now.) The bell above the bulb is made of cast iron, so all the light is directed downward onto a table or desk surface. The base of the lamp has two horizontal grooves designed to hold pens or pencils. The lamp has a turn switch on the front side of the candle. In addition, it’s signed and numbered on the underside of the base. This piece would be great in an office, on the kitchen counter, in a bathroom, or anywhere downward-facing light is needed. Measures 12″ high by 6 1/2″ wide by 4 1/2″ deep. Rewired.
