Single brass gas sconce
This single brass gas sconce has rich patina, c. 1885. It’s likely made by Handel but is not signed. The camphored glass shade has a subtle pleated and ruffled design along the top edge. The sconce has its original gas valve, which is no longer operable. A wall switch would be required to operate this sconce. Perfect for over the kitchen sink, bathroom, hallway, entranceway, den, etc. Measures 10 1/2″ high by 7 1/4″ wide by 10″ deep. Carefully converted from gas to electric with ground wire added to bring it up to code.
