Slag glass table lamp signed Rainaud, originally gas
Magnificent, large slag glass table lamp, signed “Rainaud“. Originally gas, c. 1880s, now carefully converted to electric with three pull-chain switches. Shade has eight beige/caramel bent glass panels. Remnants of original burgundy accents can be seen on wreaths on shade’s frame. Metal is very dark green (nearly black). Perfect for living room, great room, dining room, bedroom, entranceway, etc. Lamp stands 21 1/2″ high; shade is 18 1/2″ across bottom edge; diameter of base is 7”. Rewired with cloth cord and old-style plug.
