Scientific burner signed by Arthur H. Thomas Co.
We’ve converted this cast iron scientific burner signed by Arthur H. Thomas Co. so it can live for another generation! It’s signed by the company and also says Detroit and Philadelphia on the burner. It was manufactured in the early 1900s. We added an inline switch to turn it on and off, and we used a flicker bulb to emulate a flame, but any candelabra size bulb will work. What a great collector piece! It’s also perfect for the scientist in your life who would appreciate the history represented here.
Can be used as a nightlight, on a mantel, on the bathroom counter, on a desk, in a workshop or lab — anywhere extra light (with character) is needed! It measures 11 1/2″ high including the bulb by 4 1/4″ wide. Newly wired.
