Brass hall fixture with satin glass bowl shade
This brass hall fixture with satin glass bowl shade has a rich patina. It hails from c 1915. The satin glass is cut with beautiful vines and grape clusters, and the glass is in excellent condition. It has no chips or cracks. The glass bowl is held in place by a brass ring with three curled arms. The arms attach to three chains which meet at a hub in the center. Then they connect to a single chain that runs to the ceiling canopy. There is one bulb inside the bowl.
Perfect for foyer, hallway, stairwell, bedroom, library, family room, etc. Measures 46 1/2″ long by 11 1/2″ wide; can be shortened to accommodate a specific space. A wall switch is required to operate this fixture. We rewired it and added a ground wire to meet today’s electric codes.
