Figural lamp, originally gas
This amazing figural lamp, originally gas, hails from c. turn of the century. We converted it to electric, using an inline on-off switch. It currently has a flicker bulb for ambiance, but any regular candelabra bulb could yield more light if needed and would be fine.
The lamp is made of cast iron, brass and pot metal and has a very rich patina. The figure is a Victorian boy in traditional Victorian garb. The vintage, flawless gas shade is cranberry to frosted with beautiful etching; a clear scalloped top edge completes the design.
Perfect for dining room, living room, bedroom, den, entranceway, etc. Measures 17 3/4″ to top of shade by 8″ across the base.
