Single brass sconce with original brown finish
This single brass sconce with original brown finish hails from c. 1920s. If you look closely, you can see some minor paint loss on the backplate commensurate with age; we’re mentioning for accuracy only. This Art Deco sconce has its original bakelite turn switch signed GE. It can be operated by the turn switch, or you can place it in the ON position and use a wall switch. To add to its versatility, this fixture can face either up or down. Please note that we used an amber bulb to complete the fixture, but any type of Edison-size bulb will work (up to 60W maximum, or it equivalent).
Perfect for any small space, including hallway, bathroom, closet, entranceway, staircase, etc. Measures 10 1/2″ high (including bulb) by 4 1/2″ wide by 5 1/2″ deep. Rewired with ground wire added.
