Rare set of four signed Empire sconces
This rare set of four signed Empire sconces are pewter. They have a gold wash and rich patina. c. 1905. The Empire Lamp Company operated in Chicago in the early 1900s. The color of each sconce varies ever so slightly from one sconce to another; mentioning for accuracy only. These sconces can be independently operated at the sconces by the switch on each one, or they can be placed in the “on” position and operated by a wall switch.
Perfect for a living room, bedroom, dining room, entrance-way, stairwell, hallway, office, etc. They measure 9 1/4″ wide by 12 3/4″ high with the bulbs (9 1/2″ without the bulbs) by 4 1/4″ deep.
