We now have sales in every single state in the country, thanks to Kathy & Wayne in Nebraska!

When we first started our antique lighting restoration business about 30 years ago, we printed a map of the United States. Every time we had a sale for the first time in a new state, we marked that state with a pushpin. As the years went by, the map slowly filled. We’ve been waiting for a sale in the very last state — Nebraska — so we could declare that we now have sales in every single state in the country. Enter Kathy & Wayne, a delightful couple who needed some lamp parts. We were all too happy to accommodate them! Our map is now complete! Thank you to everyone for helping us achieve our goal, and particularly to Kathy & Wayne! We couldn’t have done it without you!

Signed SOLAR industrial pendant

Signed SOLAR industrial pendant

Who ever imagined that industrial lighting would be so popular in today’s homes? The truth is that industrial lighting is a hot commodity! It’s really difficult to find a signed SOLAR industrial pendant in such amazing condition.  It was originally inverted gas, c. 1890. It still has its original green and gold finish. It also has its original Holophane style glass shade.  We’ve converted it to electric for use in today’s world. This piece would be perfect over the kitchen sink, in an entryway, staircase, bathroom, or any number of other spaces.

You have until the end of this month to save 30% on this fixture! That’s when our October sale will end. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to add a beautiful piece of history to your home!

Brass plated vintage torchiere

Brass plated vintage torchiere

Did you know that most people use torchieres as accent lighting? That’s because the lion’s share of their light shines upward. Some light filters through the glass shade as well. Most torchieres have three-way switches that operate three-way bulbs. That means you can use this brass plated vintage torchiere as an accent light on the first setting, OR you can use the third setting to perform surgery!  Torchieres are very versatile!

Pair of cast brass sconces

Pair of cast brass sconces

If you’re looking for a pair of cast brass sconces with their original red and green accents, we’re here to help!  This great pair has a single light on each sconce. Also, each sconce has its own switch, so you can operate it at the sconce. If you’d rather use a wall switch, you can do that instead!  We rewired these and added a ground wire to each to bring them up to code.

And remember, this month is our first ever 30% off sale, so don’t miss out! For additional details and pics, take a closer look at W01-10963 now.

Kerosene lamp with cast iron bracket

Kerosene lamp with cast iron bracket

With all the power outages these days, a kerosene lamp with a cast iron bracket could really help! Kerosene lamps are becoming more popular — especially wall mounts, because you can keep them away from pets and small children. In addition, this lamp is signed “MG Co.” and it’s in perfect working order! The cast iron arm is original and probably dates to the 1920s, while the bracket’s hinge is a replacement. Don’t be left in the dark!

Brass bowl ceiling fixture

Brass bowl ceiling fixture

Brass bowl ceiling fixtures were really popular in the 1930s and 40s.  By then, the novelty and popularity of fixtures with bare light bulbs was waning. Colorful shades were the new rage! This brass bowl ceiling fixture has a vintage pale pink-to-clear satin glass shade. It’s attached to a reproduction brass fixture by three chains. It’s wired with a ground wire added to meet today’s standards, and it’s ready to go!

Rare Ghost Lamp

Rare Ghost Lamp

Ever heard of a ghost lamp? We hadn’t either! We’d done so much research on this rare piece and couldn’t find a single piece of information about it. Then fortuitously, a couple of thespians visited our booth at an antique show and identified it! They identified it as a lamp that was used on the stage at night in 1800s theaters “to keep the ghosts away”!

This floor lamp is all original, including the cut glass mission shade — with one exception.  It used to be gas powered, and we carefully electrified it so it can be used in today’s world.
