The W3-18512 is a battery powered, two-light flashlight called an Eveready Table MasterLite patented by Everyready in 1935. Ours is in perfect working order! If you gently pull up on the white opal glass ball on the top, the light shines softly through it. If you pick up the light and look at the bottom, you’ll see light filtering through the flat lens. Our research indicates that these were often used by customers in restaurants to help read the menu and to summon the waiter. They were also used as regular flashlights as we know them today (just not as powerful). What a great piece of lighting history!
